HOW IT WORKS

Discord timestamp generator, explained.

  1. Enter the event time and its time zone.
  2. Find the timestamp style you need and copy its code.
  3. Paste the code directly into a Discord message, outside a code block.

Discord timestamps use Unix seconds in a format such as <t:1893456000:F>. Discord renders the result using the reader’s locale and time zone. The previews here use English and the selected preview zone; the actual Discord appearance can differ.

Do I need a Discord bot?

No. You can paste the timestamp code into a normal message. TimeDrop does not connect to your Discord account or send the message.

Why does a timestamp show as plain text?

Paste the complete code, including both angle brackets, into a supported Discord message. Text inside backticks or a code block stays literal.

How does relative time work?

The R style displays a phrase such as “in 2 hours.” Discord updates it relative to the reader’s current time.
