HOW IT WORKS

Event time link, explained.

  1. Give your event a name, then choose its date, time and organizer time zone.
  2. Check the preview. If a clock time happens twice when daylight saving ends, choose the intended occurrence.
  3. Copy the event link or a ready-to-send invitation. Choose the Discord format for local timestamps, or download the calendar file.

An event link records a fixed moment in time, the organizer time zone and a duration. Recipients see their own local time and can open an editable copy to plan another event. Existing shared links stay unchanged. Invitations are copied only when you click; they are never sent for you. Use the calendar file to add the event to a calendar app.

Does the link adjust for daylight saving?

The selected date is converted using the time-zone data in your browser. The link then stores a fixed timestamp, so recipients see the same moment. If a government changes time-zone rules later, verify the event and create a new link if needed.

Can I change an event after sharing?

Links contain the event details rather than a server record. Changing a field creates a new link; old links remain unchanged. Send the new link to your guests.

Is my event private?

Anyone with the link can read the title, time and duration. Do not put confidential information in the title. The details are not stored in a TimeDrop database.
